PPP Stainless Steel Hammer Arrestors are available for all types of fluid systems - water, deionized and triple distilled water, chemicals and petroleum
products.

Finished to Your Specifications
When ordering, the expected mean spike pressure must be specified as well as the chemical make-up of the fluid in the system and the maximum temperature. Arrestors may be charged at the factory with either air or dry nitrogen per your specification.

If arrestors are to be used in systems pumping volatile fluids, it is mandatory that they are charged with dry nitrogen.

SPECIFICATIONS & INSTALLATION
CONSTRUCTION:
Stainless Steel Adapter, Cap, Piston, and Barrel with high pressure EPDM "O"rings. All stainless steel parts can be fabricated from 316 materials.
CAP: Machined of 316 Stainless Steel.
PISTON: Machined of 316 Stainless Steel.
SEALS: EPDM Seal.
SEAL LUBRICANT: Dow-Corning Silicone Compound #111, FDA listed for use in potable water systems.
OPERATING PRESSURE:

Normal operating pressure 35 to 500 PSI.
Spike pressure not to exceed 720 PSI.
Manufacturing lead time: 8 -10 weeks. 3" through 8" priced per quotation.

TEMPERATURE: -40° F to + 212°  F (-4.4°  C to +100°  C)
INSTALLATION:
May be installed in new or existing plumbing systems with a standard flanged tee.
